Hello Family.
well as the title says i wasn’t quite on a show like good morning america but i was on a radio show!!!! that was quite cool. the address is www.factoryfmmadrid.com and the station was 102.4fm the b8 hermanas have an investigator whose radio station is in our area. the guy loved the message so much he wanted them to be able to share it with more people. so the guy said bring like 6 missionaries. so the B8 herms invited two of the hermanas her, and they invited us. so six of us went saturday morning at 9. it was cool. and M is going to be baptized!!!!!!!!! we taught her lesson 3 and invited her to be baptized. at first she said no se. so we talked about it. how she loves how she feels in the church, and how she could have that spirit for her whole life. then she was kind of afraid if she moved she would be able to follow the church, so we read 1 nefi 3,7 she wants to be baptized. and now she is really firm with her decision. and we talked to her about conference and how we can listen to the prophet and she was so excited. she is still reading and praying and she came to church on sunday. everything is going really well. and there is another 14 year old dominican that is a member and they are now best friends with each other. and Vanyalina a member is from the same city as M. Vanyalina is 18 but they are still good friends. so that is good. and its good M lives right by the church. we had a good lesson with Vanyalina and M. Vanyalina was baptized when she was 15. so around the same age as Ma. and Vanyalina was baptized alone. and she said it was kind of hard, but she had her family in the church. but 2 years after she was baptized her mom was baptized, and like 6 months after that her dad was baptized. and at first her dad was so against listening to the missionaries. but now they are all baptized. so we are really excited for M, and slowly start to talk with her family more and more.
so A also came to church. he really wants to be baptized its just the smoking thing. so we are going to fast with him on Wednesday so he can stop smoking. but he really wants to. at the end on the lesson he asked who is going to be in the water with me. he is a cool guy. its really sad though because he has tried so many times to stop smoking but just hasn't quite gotten there. but he is smoking less and less so that is good. Be didnt come to church because they were sick. but we have been talking with them throughout the week and they have been reading the whole time. so that is really good. so F, we haven’t been teaching him. but i used to with de los santos and while we were a threesome waiting for my companion so the other elders have been teaching him. but anyhow he got baptized on saturday! he got every sunday off at work and that was the only thing stoping him from being baptized. so that was cool. weather has been rapidly declining here. rain and colder weather. so ward council here is kind of frustrating. the 2nd councilor said im not going to present myself the the investigators. then the 1st councilor said (he came in a bit late as we were talking about missionary work) what is this missionary council now. isn’t that the point of it? talk about less actives, families with problems, and how we can help investigators. so yeah. thats ward council. so we finally watched the missionary broadcast that happened in like July. we have been talking with the bishop. he talked to the stake president and the stake president said no. which doesnt make any sence because other wards have watched it, and the prophet said everyone should watch it. the stake president didnt want to disrupt with the regular schedule or sunday school curriculum. so it was the fifth sunday so the bishop said during the first hour (when elders and relief society are combined) you can watch it. so we didnt watch all of it but we watched like 40 minutes. so that was good. thank you for all the presents. the ties are all really cool. and the watch. and the sweater. a bit late but at least if finally arrived. thats about all for this week. love you all.

seems like the marathon wasn’t that long ago. a year ago the age changed and we all had no clue that it had. then i remember mom told me and i was more just like oh thats nice. i think i was to dead to actually think about it. what day does jj leave? there are a few people from Argentina in the ward here. the bishop is. thats kind of funny a guy emily knows was on the voice.
p.s. don’t die like i did in the marathon.
pps one more cool thing about M. she already wants to be a missionary. she wants to share the gospel and everything. way cool.
it is frustration when you see people progress and have a testimony then not be able to teach them anymore. but i guess sometimes our job is just to prepare people. basically all of our investigators now have had some interaction with the church before. its just frustration when you see people progress so much. its calle bravo murillo 43 4a. you need to put 4a. we haven’t meet with the filipino family yet. we passed by yesterday but they weren’t there. all the ties are really cool. thank you. 8 missionaries went to the palace. thats cool you found a cousin you can start researching more on. but bad you forgot the thumb drive. some days i forget my chapa at the piso. which isn’t good. but we go on. ps chapa in the name tag.
spanish is coming fine. i don’t really have to concentrate. its kind of both. depends who you talk to. but like if an american lives in England for a while he will have an english accent. in not sure what language we listen to conference in.
well have a dandy week.
