Hello family

Well this week went well.  So on Wednesday for zone meeting we watched a talk from elder Uchtdorf for the new mission presidents seminar this year call fear not i am with thee, and it was really good.  Talked about how peter didn't have any fear in sharing the gospel, then he talked about being a missionary 30 years ago, all he wanted to do was to share the gospel.  It really helped me think of what i can do better, and motivated me.

So we had a really good lesson with Paul.  We just read the introduction of the Book of Mormon and he said that it hit him.  How important it is to read in the book.  He felt the spirit testify to him that he needs to read.  Shows how the Book of Mormon can bring in the spirit so strongly, and better than we can.  Then on Saturday he said he would come to church again, but i think he slept in.  We called to wake him up but he phone was off.  So next week he will come.

So P. and his family are still doing well.  They came to church on Sunday, so thats good.  So funny story.  I asked P. if he'd ever done the cinnamon challenge, he said he hadn´t, then he said he’d do it.  I didn’t think he would say yes, but he did, so i couldn't back down.  So we both did it.  Something i would imagine doing with a 45 year old man from ecuador.  But he liked it (well i dont know like, but he said good memories ahha)  We also made empanadas with them.  But from the time i got here to now, they seem more united as a family.  I think soon they will want to get married.

So church was quite full today.  We barely even fit in our class.  There was quite a few people who are relatives of members, but they aren't, so we are going to meet with them this week.  So in our class we sang a closing hymn, and one person was going quick and off tune, and we sounded horrible.  It was quite funny.

So M. is still doing well.  He didn't come to church though.  So we will have to see what happened.  He seems close, but just lacking something i don’t know.

Also last week we went to alcorcon for pday.  So I saw Lucy.  That was really cool.  So finished the book of mormon for the second time.  She is amazing.

Actually not strange speaking Spanish all day long.  And the beginning of the mission it was with my first comp, but now it isn't.  And we alway have done district meetings in Spanish.  Normally there is one native person in the district.  And even when we’re all been americans, we did them in Spanish, except for one time, it was in english.

Well we were going to go to El Escorial, but some guy came to paint our apartment, so we didn't have time.  So maybe next week.

Well, i really liked the don Quixote one, and he is Spanish, so ill do that one then.  And you can order how ever many you want.  There are also the lord of the rings swords.  Well, from any movie, but lord of the ring is the best movie.

That seems weird that Michael is home, and Kyle.  Two close friends in my grade.  Well, I'm sure he will be back to his normal hyper self soon.  Thats kind of funny he missed his flight.  I wonder how he did that though.  Guess he just wanted a few more hours of being a missionary.  I sure am blessed with a good group of friends.  Basically every served a mission.  I don’t know why some people are anti Utah.  The church teaches make good friends.

Bruno is funny.  And he wont jump out of the boat much either.  Only sometimes.  Maybe we have to do what we do in the boat.  Just get him really excited and have some in there to guide him to the beach entrance.  Whitney and emily are nice.  I remember the date we went on.  I went with emily and devon with whitney.  That was probably one of the best dates i went on.

Michaels family is really fun.  They seem to all get along well.  And then Michael is just like another brother, so i guess its kind of one merged family.
Well have fun in New York!  should be cool to be in the stock exchange.

Have a wonderful week

Love Elder Kinghorn

P.S. i need to make a typical food dish from america.  The branch is doing an activity on October 11, dia de las naciones, and everyone is going to bring a plate from their country.  And i am the only american,  What could i make?
