Foggy day in London town
Hello family

well before i forget some exciting news.  So MJ and C in Alcorcon are going to get married!!!!  They’ve been through lots of ups and down but as they've applied the teaching of Christ in their family they have gotten through their trials.  And even more exciting news they are actually getting married in my area!!!  Since the wait for marriage is long there they are going to a near by pueblo here because the wait is a lot shorter.  So thats really exciting.  We should be able to go to the wedding.

So with M. were not quite sure whats happened.  His mom T. fasted so that he could do everything he needed to be baptized, because he was kind of going off.  Then she actually went to the hospital because of her fast.  And M. doesn't have a phone, so we’ve always had to call T. to get a hold of M.  SO we’ve passed by but he was never there.  So we could never meet with him last week.  So we will see what happens.

But JP is doing really well.  A really cool recent convert here has befriended him well.  She's invited him to go do things with her through the week.  (but sadly she is moving back to London in  a month).  So she is going to come with a lesson with us this week.  And he came to church again.  Thats three weeks in a row.

So P and his fam are good.  Well bad news actually, P. is going to London this week probably, as there is no work here, he is going to look in London.  He worked there before, so that’s why he is going again.  So that’s sad.  But what are you going to do.  Maybe they will realize how much they love each other while they are separated, and then want to get married when he returns.  So it could be a really good thing.

So the africans we meet last week turned out to be really cool.  So his name is JJ.  And hers is A.  They are from costa Mali or something like that by Ghana and they speak french.  So we found out he wrote a thesis of 700 pages about human rights and law, and got his doctorates.  I have no clue how someone could write that much.  i don’t think i could.  it took him 7 years though.  but he got his thesis approved.  We met with them yesterday, and taught the restoration.  He says he believes in God, but is kind of having doubts.  He says he prays but doesn't feel he has received an answer.  So we talked about that.  How we need patience, and faith.  And then talked about the book of mormon, and he was really excited to try again.  To try to receive revelation from god.  For such an educated man he is still really humble.  And they also have the most adorable 14 month old son.

Seems like every time we rent a car in a foreign country we always have problems.  In Brazil we just about died a hundred times, and there you just got a lemon.

Thats cool you went to the branch there.  I always thought devon was a good missionary.  It would have been cool to do splits with him one day.  I did in dreams some times haha.  Its always fun when someone feeds you a ton, then the next place they do as well.  i can see how some missionaries gain a ton of weight.  Next week tickets go on sale for the Barcelona madrid game.  (only six days in advanced, seems odd)

That's cool you found some Spanish people there in Germany.  There are quite a lot of Spanish speakers around the world.

Must have been cool spending time with the people devon served with.  Seems like they gave you aton of food as well.  Is the german food close to the food at sigfrieds?

Well renting cars in other countries is just bad i guess.  IN brazil we almost died, there the engineering failed, and in Greece we got tiny atvs (that was fun though)

well hope you have a good rest of the trip and have a lovely week.

Love Elder Kinghorn
