Hello patrons

Well everything is going well.  C and MJ are doing about the best I've seen them.  The difference, they have started to read in the Book of Mormon every day.  They say they haven't been arguing and they have just been happier.  They we watched the talk with elder Holland about the book of mormon and they were going crazy.  That talk is so good.  I don’t know how anyone could deny the truthfulness of the book of Mormon after seeing him testify with such certainty that its true.

Well so this week we visited H, and R. was sick, and a member was there. And they were talking about something, i dont know what, because their little kid J. wanted to play dinosaurs with us.  So that was kind of fun.  I had a triceratops?  the one with three horns.  And he had a t-rex and my companion had a raptor.  But the lesson was good afterwards.  Just talked a bit about baptism.  Said he still wants to wait (apart from needing to get married as well).  But he likes everything and wants to continue learning.  Sadly they both had to work on Sunday though.

So the sisters are teaching this Brazilian, and she has only lived here for a month.  So she speaks Portuguese to us.  And we see her in the street and we talk for like ten minutes, and its like going back to the beginning of the mission.  I understand the basic jist of what she wants to say, but somethings im like, i have no clue what you just said.  It also helps we visit L., so i understand the accent at least.

L. is doing really well.  Sadly she had to work all day Sunday.  She never even went home on Sunday.  Stupid work.  She does everything, just that one little thing.  But itll work out soon.  Lisa came and visited L. with us. She was really good in the lesson.  She didn't have to much time, but Lucy said when she goes to Utah, so wants to go visit Lisa as well.  Lucy always says she is going to come to my wedding in Utah.  It was cool seeing Lisa.  Made me want to do better as a missionary.

Well we meet this new guy named C.  He is from Mexico (probably the fifth Mexican i have met here)  He seems evangelist, but he doesn't go to any church.  He wants to come and preach with us someday.  He actually asked us when is his baptism.  We said the fifth of September.  he could progress well.  He likes to talk a lot during lessons.  We just have to keep on subject.  Sadly he didn't come to church either though.  He works during the nights, and goes home and sleeps.  So I've just been thinking of how to get people to come to church, and it just seems like oh well talk about why we come to church.  But studying this week we need to get them to read and pray about the book of mormon.  With moroni´s promise it doesn't say anything about going to church.  It was read, ponder and pray.  So thats what we need to do, they they will want to come to church on their own.

We had an activity in the park on Saturday.  And stressed bring friends to the member.  And their were quite a few friends there.  We had food and volleyball and some other little games.  So we will see what happens with some of their friends.  But the activity went really well.  Everyone had a good time and the friends felt comfortable.

Well we haven't made paella yet.  Hopefully this week.  But we would probably do it with sea food.  It has mussels, squid, clam, chicken, onion, tomato. and i cant remember what else.

Well transfers come out this saturday.  But i hope that means im staying!  Id sure like that lots.  I really want to stay.  Being transferred isn't to fun.
Well i don’t know how much a custom shield would be.  That would be cool though.

It was really cool seeing Lisa.  She made me want to be a better missionary.  She came to L´s with us, and she was really good in the lesson.  She couldn´t stay to long so she just shared her testimony and it was really strong.  Kind of cool, she speaks with the argentine accent.  with the shh for the ll.

Well thats quite odd they cut the cake early.  That never happens.  And secondly they are always running late as well.

Sounds like you had a nice time seeing some of your family.  Boarder collies are good dogs.  It does seem like bruno acts more like a boarder collie than a lab.  Remember the trainer at first was like yeah, I've heard a million people say their dogs are smart and stubborn, but then after he met bruno he was like yeah, your right that is a very smart, and very stubborn dog.

Well have a good week.

Love you

Love Elder Kinghorn
