well it has rained every day since i have been here. i have seen the sun for a total of 10 minutes since i have been here. so when i leave the apartment every morning i don’t even really look outside anymore. I just take an umbrella. Vigo is a cool city. it is really hilly. we are always walking up, or down. well we have meet with a few investigators. J. is a 12 year old daughter of a member. a less active member. who can only come every 4th sunday because of work. but J. has a fecha for november second. we’ve only met with her once. i don’t know too much about her yet. and then G. is also a son of a member family. he is 15 and for what ever reason he wasn’t baptized. so he is going to be baptized the 16 of november. we talked about applying the scriptures in out lives. but both of them you can tell have a testimony. they are both reading and praying. so I’m excited to continue meeting with them. other than that we have been trying to find lots of new people. we have a lesson tonight with someone from the area book. latter in the week with people we have street contacted. thats what we are focusing on. so funny first story. so the first day i was in Vigo, we went way out to the edge of the city. so we crossed a park and a road. and we were supposed to go down a ghetto road. so we did then that turned into a scary forrest path. (so elder johnson had been here before so he was giving us directions through the phone) so while we were walking through the forrest path i saw a cat out of the corner of my eye and i screamed then my companion screamed, then a bunch of dogs started barking. well we never found the house. then johnson and my companion went to find it, but then couldn’t either. but they found this random guy who know them and so we were actually in the wrong place. Johnson thought it was someone else we were looking for. so then Dougher and i went to the new address and found out that he moved. so then we went to the new new address and he wasn’t there. so we have tried like 4 times to find this man, and we haven’t yet. but we will one day. so also there are pigeons here. so we are training pigeons. we place bread in the window seal. and the pigeons fly to a near by roof. then they slowly make their way over and fly. one day we will catch one. somehow. not sure what we will do with it. probably just let it go. well me and my companion get along real well. he reminds me of jj. i ate muscles the other day. they were good. so one last thing so we went to Baiona today (where columbus left to sail across the sea) it was cool. but it was super windy. and rainy. the umbrellas flipped over a ton of times. actually mine never did. but one guys he just bought a cheap one from off the street and by the end it was completely broken. basically a tarp on a pole.
hope your furniture byuing is going well. are you going to buy new chairs for the table? i think you should. to many slivers have come from those chairs. bruno is a good dog. make the world dog people. one person at a time. that is quite a large house. the Vanderbilts are big. there is a university named after him. that is also a lot of land. you could build a golf course on that. haha mid october is kind of questionable for outside. i remember tanya's it was pouring. speaking of which it has rained every day here so far. i have seen the sun for all of about 10 minutes in eight days. it is a branch. but with like 90 people. so its still big. thats nice you will have dinner with Darwin.
sounds like quite a few problems from alex´s wedding. but good thing all still went well. the wedding still happened and thats important. good thing it didn’t rain. i have been here eight days and it has rained eight days. today we went to Baiona, and it looks like pebble beach area. lots of rocky cliffs, and ocean. it was pretty. its where columbus sailed. we made a peach cobbler in the piso the other week. it was quite good. apple crisp sounds good. thats cool grandpa ordained you. so i guess they just do it at home like they did for devon and me when we left. thats cool. thats cool jj is leaving. my new companion reminds me of him. i guess only time will tell if i can beat kevin when im back.
Ya, right now we kind of have a problem. There has never been so many youth and in the next few weeks we are expecting a lot to come. And we don’t know where to put them. So the chapel probably. Just a funny problem to have. We don’t know where to meet for class. but we'll see what happens. i have a feeling we'll get a new ward house soon.
well thats about all. i don’t have too much more time. I love you all
love elder jason kinghorn
