hello

so Nancy is still doing well.  she came to stake conference yesterday.  well actually it wasnt stake conference.  so at first the stake president spoke, but then the projector started going, and the president of the seventy spoke Elder Meynes, the area president like Jose Teixeira, or something, a relief society person, elder dun or something, then Elder Ballard.  it was for all of Spain, Portugal, and cape verde.  it was super cool.  Na really liked it. so we had a super good lesson as well with Nancy.  she is kind of worried because she hasn't received her answer yet.  so we just kind of talked about how you can and how you are going to feel and everything.  it was a super good lesson. so nena didnt come because she was felling sick.  but we did meet with her.  we did a soft baptismal commitment, and she accepted.  she is super cool.  she read the chapter we left her, and she said for sure next week she will come.  only problem is she might move to Barcelona for work.  so we will see what happens.  

so we are meeting with two older spaniards, they are sisters.  born in Cuba, parents from Spain.  only moved to Cuba during the civil war.  they are super nice.  talk a ton.  like a ton.  they are super nice and friendly.  she kind of reminds me of grandma carson a bit.  i dont quite understand why she isnt baptized yet.  she has read a ton in the book of mormon, came to church, and knows the book of mormon is true.  in fact we were on intercambion and the other elder when we went out of the lesson thought they were members.  she prays for the prophet and the church.  so we will see what happens with them.  their names are Mary and Amalia.  they have a shitzu which they love to death.  says they are the perfect dogs.  id say bruno is about the perfect dog.  but thats just me.  

hmm what else happened this week.  oh is snowed today!  that was kind of exciting.  but we didnt go sledding sadly.  dont think you can anyhow.  well thats about all for the week.  

my package did finally come!  it took long enough but it finally came.  so that is good.  all of the ties are super cool.  my companion says thank you for the tie.  and the watch is super cool.  i like it lots.  i guess i could use spaghetti sauce seasoning.  the spaghetti sauce at home it lots better than what i make here.  mainly because of time.  never lots of time to cook.  

there was a book about christmas that kind of talks about the different meanings of the words used in the bible, and how some could have been translated differently.  it was really interesting.  spinach manicotti sounds good.  i bought spinach this week.  i did enchiladas the other week and they were good.  

so i guess you didnt get a set of golf clubs for your birthday  haha.  did you make the mortons cake?  its good.  or hot chocolate?  i dont think we have enough chocolate cookbooks yet.  haha  

my knee is good.  not quite 100 but its good.  i wonder how many steps we take some days.  some days we are running all over the place.  thats cool you can scan foods.  so how do you do that?  just like put in one hamburger and thats all.  

kind of funny we are teaching a 80 year old spaniard and she is very fascinated with las vegas.  sounds like a good buffet.  dessert for breakfast.  sounds like an exciting show.  the one we went to last year was pretty good.  Mystair?  is that what is was called.  the one we went to last year was good.  and the blue man was good.  well most of the shows we have gone to there are good.  

i bought things for smoothies for breakfast this week.  we discovered we have a blender.  thats cool espn showed that for t haws.  and cool Kevin got in the picture.  seems strange byu is second.  doesnt seem like they are doing to well.  but oh well.  are they are bit behind Gonzaga then?  

well thats to bad for Peyton manning.  cant remember the last Superbowl that was a blowout.  all of them seem to come down to the last second.  oh well.  so pete Carell is in quite a small crowd of coaches them.  he has won a bsc title and super bowl.  and within like 5 seasons of moving to the nfl he already has a title.  dont know the last coach to do that was.  

oh on the music you sent me there is a rather funny song named good morning heavenly father.  is it form the preachers wife or something?  it should be our wake up song.  we heard Coldplay at the store today.  i think u2 is my favorite band.  they are good. you can listen to them forever, have a good variety, are good, and is my childhood growing up band.   have to watch some of the commercials some day.  there are always s a few good ones.  well no superbowl here.  only world cup and la liga.  Spain is ranked number one in the world though.  Argentina second and Germany third.  so should be interesting.  well have a good week.  love you
