Hello family

Well Haydee got baptized, so that was excited!  Michaels sister. The 21 year old.  The baptismal service was really good.  Really spiritual.  I think the dad was crying afterward, and a few other people as well.  It was simple but really good.  Just a few short talks, a video and the baptism.  And some testimonies.  The parents should come along soon.  He just wants to wait for some reason.  Maybe he has some doubt he doesn't want to tell us about or i dont know.  But we will try to figure it out.  They are a really cool family.  And they are really united which is really cool.  Just happy, and love each other.  You really see the difference when there is love in the home.

So some excited news here.  So T. is a convert, baptized about last January, and a really strong member.  She is from Cuba.  Anyhow, she has two kids.  M who is 18 and C who is 22.  Marino has listed to missionaries and everything, he is sometimes there when we meet with T., but didn't want to give up smoking.  And T. always just said just wait, and his time will come.  So last week there was a conference camping thing for two of the three stakes in madrid.  So he went.  And when he came back he wanted to get baptized!!  He realized he really didn't need smoking or worldly things to be happy.  He didn't even miss it while he was there.  So we met with him last night and he really wants to, and is willing to give everything up.  So thats really exciting.  He's a cool guy.

So H., we meet with him, and had a really good lesson.  And he had read in the book of mormon, and really liked it, and said he would come to church, but he didn't.  And we don’t know why yet.  Probably something came up.  He seems like he could really progress, and be a good member.  And he understands everything really well as well.

So R., the young guy, so he is 22 and he is already graduated from collage, and is an optometrist.  wow.  Thats pretty young.  He brought some friend when we met with him this past week, and she seemed really interested in the book of Mormon.  We couldn't meet with them for to long because we had to go, and they showed up late.

One more interesting thing, we taught this Chinese women.  And she doesn't speak Spanish to well, so we found the pamphlets in Chinese and taught her with that basically.  She believes in god though.  She isn't buddhist or anything.  So we will just go little by little with her.

So we have district meeting in toledo, so afterwards while waiting for our busses we all went and got burritos in the center of toledo.  That was kind of cool.

It has not rained here for quite some time.  a cloudy day is pretty rare.  just a lot of sunshine.  which is good.  Remember in brazil when it rained for a day straight, and the streets were flooded with water.  that was crazy

I miss Mexican food.  We went to a Mexican restaurant here and it just want the same.  There really aren't any Mexicans here.  Jj has never been to five guys???¿?  Thats a shame.  Five guys is really good.  Probably the best hamburger place.  And now with Fudruckers gone, thats the only place.

Sounds like the costume exhibit was good.  Tanya said she liked it as well.  You always made good costumes though.  The jack sparrow one you did was really good.  It was cool how you always made out costumes.  And the Patsy one.  I think that one was my favorite.

Zucchini instead of noodles??  sounds weird.  But I'm sure it was good.  And i guess healthier as well.  A way to eat vegetables.  I remember one time i was with cody, and you can sandy were talking for ever, and we were wondering what you two could have been talking about, so at the end we asked sandy, what did you talk about, the weather?  And she said well actually yes we did.  haha.

well thats good devon did well.  I think i would have gotten quite red and nervous if i forgot the words and had to stop.  I think I'm more like you, i was always nervous giving talks in church.  Well and at the begging i was nervous teaching in the mission, but now I'm not at all, i love it.

So you'll be going back to Austria before Devon?  He must be jealous.  are you going to vienna?  The only thing i would say with Spain, would be to visit madrid and places near by, and southern Spain sound really cool as well.

Well thats really cool jj got the ok to go back out.  Hey, if he goes to new York maybe he would run into Vanyalina sometime.  that'd be really cool.  well i wouldn't really want to go to Idaho either.  but you'll love anywhere you go though.

I had a dream about golfing, but i cant remember to well.  I just remember i was in the bunker.  Thats a pretty good shot from jj.  He did it another time on that whole as well.  Stuck his second one really close.  Is devon getting pretty good now?

.

Dont think anyone in the ward follows byu sports.  There are no americans in this branch.  Well hopefully byu wins.  But thats all it'll be at for now.  Just a hope of a good season.  The only scores i get from people here are the soccer scores.

Fiesta fun was fun.  I remember going there a long time ago.  I have not seen one mini golf there here in Spain yet.  I did see a paint ball and a rock climbing wall this week though.  Those were both firsts.

Well thats about all.  Have a devine week

love ya

love
