hello family
christmas is starting here in Vigo. there are a lot of decorations being put up. christmas is in the air. so the week started out a bit rough again so my companion and i made the goal to do everything on time. bed, study, leave, everything and the week got better by the end. so on saturday we had one lesson in the morning. so in the afternoon we made the goal to have 3 lessons. so we passed by a less actives house, and invited his mother in to the lesson who is not baptized. we shared a short thought about prayer. they seemed to like it. then we just continued contacting. and found a guy on the street. we taught him the restoration. but he didnt have much time, he had to go so he asked us if we could meet another time. we were like for sure. so we wrote down his number and are going to call him tonight. then we meet a joven, he seemed super golden. we taught him the plan of salvation and the restoration. kind of odd but it was really good. he asked why religions were different than from before, and why are we here. so that was cool. if we make goals and have faith in the lord, we can do anything. we just need the faith, and for it to be the lords will. so N. she reads everything and comes to church and feels its true, but doesnt want to be baptized. so we decided to take a break from baptisms for a few weeks. so we taught the plan of salvation and watched the video with N on the plain. she already knew everything though. so we will wait probably one or two more weeks and then go over the baptismal interview questions, and hopefully that will make her realize that she is ready for baptism. so at church there was a british family that the hermanas are teaching that came. she is a reference from a british member in the ward. so we were all translating for them. so we went to young womens. and translated. it was cool. we found out all the secrets of young women. haha. so we found an amazing waffle shop. it has always smelled so good so we decided to get one and they are heavenly. like the chocolate and churros. its just a little shack but they are good. also we found a riot going on. galicia wants to be independent from spain. well some people want to be others no. nothing violent happened just a demonstration. actually i have seen quite a few demonstrations while being here. also another elder threw up during and eating appointment. he looked full. but she offered more so we all took. and then he threw up. it was funny. the two ladies jumped up. but they laughed about it as well. they wished they had a camera to put it on facebook.
too bad lone peak lost. but im sure they will win basketball. sounds like byu basketball is starting off well though. thats cool you won the scramble. your career earings arent too shabby. cool you got a client out of it as well. guess good golf skills does come in handy for business. do you want anyone to join edge 9 or just go solo from now on? i like the logo. clean. memorable. hope you werent too hard on the priests on the commitment :) sounds like you are running a good mission prep. lots of practice. we never really did that before but i would have liked to. there is an apple store here but not to many adds. lots of dogs in the house. sounds like a party. well have a good week.
there are a few brazilians in the ward. they speak half portuguese. but from brazil. then gallego if more like portuguese from portugal than spanish. then there is spanish. so lots of languages isabel is very fun. we eat there once a week. she is very loud and we laugh a lot with her. i think ill stay. don’t know why i would be changed. i really want to stay. and i want my companion to stay. we get along well. the more north into spain you go the more closed they are, then the more south the more south american or vibrant they are. we were just in the choir at the conference. president jackson was there. that would have been cool if grandma could have seen jj. oh well. lots of dogs at your house. sounds like winter is here. it is dropping here as well. but it doesnt get as cold as utah so thats good. my companion and i really want a tree. oh and we went and got churros today. they were really good as usual. have a good week.
ps any cool spanish thing you want for christmas?

love elder jason kinghorn
