August 4, 2014 Transferred to Aranjuez

Hello family

Well sadly I was transferred.  I really, really wanted to stay, but guess I'm not.  I really loved alcorcon, it was really hard leaving.  So many really good people there.  But luckily I'm still close by, so ill try to visit on some pday, and go to L´s baptism for sure.  Transfers are the worst part of the mission.  I think i would have been happy staying in alcorcon forever.  It’s not often you stay in the same area for 5 transfers.  This is probably the hardest transfer call.  I really love alcorcon.  Transfers are the worst part.  I really would have been fine staying in alcorcon forever.

But im sure ill love it here as well.  Just the first week or two are hard.  But just start working hard here and itll be good.

But the last week was really good.  L came to church!!  So that was really happy seeing her there.  But that almost makes it harder to go because she is probably going to get baptized this transfer.  But I’m for sure going to go.  She said she would wait for me to get baptized.  So when we went over to say goodbye to her, J. just cracks open the door, then opens it, then some music turns on, and they start singing happy birthday, they had a cake and balloons.  She is just the sweetest women.  I’m really glad i got to meet her.  At church she really got along with the members, and she wants to come back.  It was so hard to say goodbye to her though.

Then on Saturday a guy named Lucho got baptized.  He is 21 years old, and we all get along really well.  We’ve played soccer with him a few times, and he really likes the missionaries.  He is a really cool dude.  We´d be friends apart form the mission as well.  And he asked me to confirm him on Sunday, that was really cool.  It was hard saying goodbye to him as well, they he also called today to talk again.  But we planned to go to Toledo with him during this transfer.

We also saw Lo. on the street again.  The lady who looked liked she might have done drugs.  And we talked with her for like 45 minutes.  She still didn´t want to give us her number, but she said she would read in the book of mormon.  Seems like she could really progress.  Hopefully she will see the missionaries again someday soon.  She just needs a few pushes.

MJ and C are a roller coaster.  We went over yesterday to say goodbye but C wasn’t there, they said he was out drinking.  M. was quite sad about that and started crying, and she doesn’t know if they are going to continue or what.  They are was good one week, then at rock bottom the next.  Just live the gospel people, it will help.

Well we made the paella.  It turned out well.  We got a pan for 12 people, it was the only one we could find.  So we gave some out to some people.

Well just so you know I’m in Aranjuez

and the address is

Calle Real, 6 escalera 2 bajo A
28300 Aranjuez
Madrid, Spain

Thats funny about jj.  He really is family.  He sent me an email about how i should marry his cousin, then we would really be family.  haha.  I guess you never know.  I really like jj.  He fits in well with our family.  And how he still hangs out there even after im gone.

Thats good you can still find out stories from Aunt Dena.  She is a really nice lady.  Family stories are really cool.  Im guessing grandma still hasn't written, ore recorded her stories though?

Well i love you  Have a nice week
