Hello people,
Well this week has been good, a bit warmer.
I think we had 16 lessons last week, but lots of the investigators don’t want to do anything. They always say they don’t have time today. But some do really want to listen. I was on an intercambio last week and we just contacted, and now I just want to talk to everyone on the street. My companion and I have gotten lots better at contacting.
The bolivian is always attacking the peruvian. It’s pretty funny. I have learned a lot of spanish. I can understand a lot more than when I first arrived. I did get your card and I really liked it. We have a passalong card that says faith in Jesus brings hope. We watched a Mormon Message video with President Eyering from his talk Mountains to Climb. It is really good.
Sometimes we all cook together or sometimes not. It just all depends. Reimbursements for traveling and various other things are the 15ish of every month, so we were just waiting because we travel a lot. But we have money now. There is a grocery store close by, and a pastry shop also that is really good. We should have gone there with they money you sent for the piso but we went to a farmers market place thing. It was still good but not as good as the other place.
Well Y, we taught her basically all of the lessons except for tithing. She reads everything. She said she doesn’t feel like she needs to pray because she already knows that is is true. I guess that is good, but we still need to pray. She has attended church two times and she has a baptismal date for the ninth of June. We found her just contacting on the street. So it’s way exciting we found her and will hopefully baptize her.
Lino we have taught a bunch. He just needs more of a testimony. He thinks a lot with logic, but he listens to us. He also needs to attend church.
So yesterday there was a marathon right in front of our apartment and the church. I wanted to join in. Also I think I might be the youngest missionary in the mission. I was in the MTC so i suppose I would be here as well.
We watched a way good video in our district meeting. It was called ¨La expiacion y la obra misional”. I’m sure it is in english. It was actually just in english with spanish subtitles. It was President Eyering and Holland speaking. You should watch it.
Well, to all have a good week. I love you all.
Love, Elder Kinghorn
